In the session of 2000 – 01, the Vancouver Grizzlies moved base to Memphis and renamed it as Memphis Grizzlies.

Why was Ja Morant ejected from the game?

The Grizzlies were forced to play the second half without Ja Morant.

Ja Morant was ejected from the game just before halftime for picking up his second technical foul.

Morant claimed he was just having a conversation with a fan sitting courtside at the game.

Morant was talking to a fan while the free throw was being shot and was immediately assessed his second technical foul.

It is said that the reason for Morant’s ejection was that he was questioning the integrity of an official.

The Memphis Grizzlies lost to Oklahoma City Thunder 115-109.

Morant expressed his displeasure after the game.

“They came to support us,” Morant said about the interaction.

“They came to watch us play. I don’t care about getting fined.”
