Tulsi Vivah Simple Process for Puja and Arti

Devuthani Ekadashi is celebrated on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik Mas. Shaligram, the form of Tulsi and Lord Vishnu, is also married on this day popularly known as Tulsi Vivah.

It is believed that on this day Lord Vishnu wakes up after a four-month long sleep and with this all auspicious muhurats starts.

Tulsi Vivah Shubh Muhurat

On the day of Devuthani Ekadashi, the chaturmas end. This is followed by tulsi-shaligram vivah . Tulsi Vivah will be held on 15th November 2021. Tulsi Vivah can be performed between 1.00 pm to 2.44 pm today. In addition, the evening muhurat of Tulsi Vivah is from 5.15 pm to 5.40 pm.

Tulsi Vivah Pujan Vidhi

A clean plase is chosen for the Tulsi Vivah Mandap, then rangoli is drawn there, A sugercane is placed to form a mandap. then a pot of Tulsi plant and shaligram ji are placed on top of the rangoli. A water-filled kalash is placed next to them and a ghee lamp is lit on top of this. Gangajal is sprayed on Tulsa ji and Shaligram ji then roli is applied. Now cover Tulsi with a red chunari, the symbol of suhag. Wrap the pot with a saree, offer bangles and makeup items as we give to the bride.

Tulsi ji is then circumambulated seven times with shaligram in hand along with the outpost, during this period local marriage songs are sung. Then aarti is performed.

Also 5 or 7 stories are also said after the aarti isperformed. these stories are related to Tulsi Vivah and a reminder that good intent produce good results, we should have faith in god even in our hard times and god will surely listen to us.
