Paneer is a protein rich milk product, which is cooked in many different styles and forms. One such preparation is Paneer 555.

Ingredients for Paneer 555

  • 250 gm Paneer Cubes (homemade)
  • 2 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp ginger garlic past
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 Tbsp green chilli sauce
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1/4 cup chopped green capsicum
  • some chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 Tbsp tomato ketchup
  • water as required
  • salt to taste
  • oil for deep frying
  • red food colour (optional)

Marinating Paneer Cubes

  • take all purpose flour in a bowl
  • to this add some water
  • add some red chilli powder to it
  • and add some salt
  • food colour (optional)
  • make a past
  • mix Paneer cubes in this past
  • leave this past for approx 1 hour to marinate

Paneer 555 recipe

  • fry the marinated Paneer cubes in a pan
  • in another pan heat some oil
  • to this add chopped onions
  • chopped green capsicum
  • add ginger garlic past
  • some red chilli powder
  • add soya sauce
  • salt
  • now stir this mixture until onions are golden brown
  • to this mixture add 1 cup of water
  • cook for few minutes
  • now add fried Paneer cubes to this mixture
  • add chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and slit green chilli
  • mix well and let it cook for few minutes

Transfer this mixture into a serving bowl decorate with some chopped coriander leaves and our Paneer 555 is ready to be served hot.
