Kaitha is an Indian fruit with many medicinal properties. The outer shell of the fruit is very hard, and inside it contains soft flesh which is used for many medicines and commonly used in homes to prepare kaitha ki chatni, kaitha ke chutney or in english wood apple chutney.

  • 4 pcs. red dry chilli
  • 1 bunch of Coriander leaf (hari dhania )
  • 1 table spoon rock salt (sendha namak)
  • 1/2 table spoon cumin seads ( jira)

Cooking Process

the process to make kaitha ki chatni is very easy and simple.

  • Remove the pulp from kaitha shell
  • Cut dry red chilli into small pieces and add to this pulp
  • add chopped coriander leaf
  • add rock salt
  • add cumin seeds
  • grind well, add water as required
  • and here we go, our Kaitha Ki Chatni is ready.
