Many a times we are in a mood to cook Dosa. But regular Dosa takes a lots of preparation beforehand then only you can enjoy it.

But there is an easy way to prepare this tasty South Indian dish quickly. this dish can be a perfect breakfast, lunch or dinner. 

The option is Instant Rava masala Dosa, Yes Rava masala Dosa or suji ka dosa. Also known as Semolina in english.

So lets see what are the Ingredients required and how we can prepare Instant Rava Dosa or suji ka dosa.

The batter for rava dosa is bit thin as compared to regular rice and daal dosa. it is served with tasty sambhar and delicious coconut chutney.

Ingredients for rava dosa batter

  •  2 bowl of Rava
  • 1 bowl of curd
  • 2 pcs. 1 inch ginger
  • 2 pcs. green chilli
  • 2 Tbs. wheat flour
  • 4 Tbs honey
  • 1 bowl of water

Now we pour the curd into a mixer jar and to it add finely chopped ginger and chilli. make a smooth past of this mixture.

Take this mixture into a bowl an to this add rava, whear flour and honey, some water. Mix it well and keep it aside for at least 1/2 an hour so that rava get soked well in to the mixture.

How to make paneer rava masala dosa mixture

  • 250 gm paneer
  • 1/2 bowl boiled green peas
  • 2 large onion finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 inch ginger finely chopped
  • 2 3 sticks of green coriander leafs finely chopped
  • 1 Tbs mustard oil
  • 1/2 tbs cumin seeds
  • 1 dry red chilli
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 tbs turmeric powder
  • 1 tbs coriander powder
  • 1/4 tbs garam masala

to prepare paneer dosa masala, firstly heat a pan to this add 1 Tbs mustard oil.

When oil is hot add cumin seeds, dry red chilli ( break it into two parts), curry leaves, mix this mixture and then to this mixture add finely chopped onion, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala mix well.

Our basic mixture is ready to this we add grated paneer and peas. mix well, don’t mix it for too long, once the mixture is mixed well, close the gas and keep the mixture aside to cool down for some time. 

once the mixture cools down it is ready to be filled in our rava dosa.

How to pour rava masala dosa

  • on a hot tawa sprinkle some water and clean it with a clothe.
  • reduce the flame.
  • now grease the tawa with oil or butter as per your liking.
  • now spread the batter thinly on the hot tawa.
  • spread some oil or butter over this mixture and around the spread.
  • now flip it over once when it start coming out from the sides
  • spread some oil or butter and flip it back
  • now take some paneer masala prepared earlier and place it on the dosa
  • paneer masala quantity is as per your liking.
  • sprinkle some finely chopped onion and coriander leaves over the filling.
  • now press the masala lightly and spread evenly on the dosa
  • fold from sides and rost till golden brown.
  • finally our tasty paneer stuffed rava masala dosa is ready to serve.
  • you can serve it with delicious sambhar and coconut chutney.
