Aloo sandwich can be prepared in many ways and variants, here i have explained how to make aloo masala sandwich using a toaster and preparing it on a tawa too.

This Vegetarian sandwich recipes is a good idea for breakfast and is also a good idea for Lunch or dinner, if you are in a mood to prepare something quickly and easily.

Ingredients for Aloo Vegetarian Sandwich Recipe

  • 5 boiled Potato
  • 1/2 inch Ginger (diced)
  • 1 Green Chili (chopped)
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried mango powder
  • salt to taste
  • refined oil or butter as required

Aloo veggie sandwich is an easy recipe and can be prepared quickly and any type of bread can be used to prepare aloo masala veggie sandwich recipe. it is best served with home made chutney like Tomato Chutney or Hari Chutney.

we use two slices of bread to preapre two piece of this veggie sandwich.

But best results are achieved when we use white bread of brown bread, whole wheat bread and many other available different types of bread are also good but aloo masala veggie sandwich tastes best with wheat bread, this is my personal opinion.

Adding red chili powder or green chili gives it a great taste but you can skip these or reduce the amount if aloo sandwich is for kids.

I have prepared aloo masala sandwich with two different methods and both way they have come out tasting yummy, crispy and delicious sandwich.

The process for Aloo sandwich recipe is easy, you have to mesh the potato and add the desired ingredients to it and our potato sandwich filling is ready, place some amount of this potato mixture on one piece of bread and place the other bread loaf above it.

Now apply oil or butter on both the sides of the bread and place it in sandwich maker or on hot tawa. it so easy.

  • Firstly mash the boiled potato
  • To this add the ingredients as per desired quantity
  • and mix well, once done
  • take 2 slices of bread and
  • spread this mixture on top of one of the slice
  • and place the other slice above this mixture
  • Now grease both the sides of the bread
  • place this sandwich in the Sandwich Maker,
  • bake till both the sides are golden brown.
  • when the breads turn golden brown our aloo masala sandwich is ready to serve.

All the steps for aloo vegetarian sandwich recipe are as above, the only difference is that instead of baking in a sandwich maker we are going to toast it on a tawa.

  • firstly grease the hot tawa or pan with refined oil or butter as desired
  • then place the sandwich on the tawa
  • and bake both the sides till they turn golden brown.
  • our crispy and tasty Aloo Masala Sandwich or Potato sandwich is ready to serve.
